Beautiful Sin

Beautiful Sin was purchased in Lexington as a yearling. She is a great looking daughter by Muscle Hill. She is good-sized and has great conformation. She showed talent early and was the favourite going into Jim Doherty Memorial. She raced great in the final, but The Ice Dutchess was too good that day and she finished second. After that she took the trip up to Canada to race in the major stakes at Woodbine/Mohawk. Bad luck struck her there when she ran through a fence in her paddock and cut her front knee severe. We thought her racing career was over, but after great work from Team Svanstedt she came back as a three-year old and became one of the best in her crop that year. She won the prestigious Kentucky Futurity ahead of The Ice Dutchess this time, in 1:50,1/1.08,5aak. She has now finished her great racing career and her new home is Concord Stud Farm where she will be Mom for many great looking foals.

Her dam Sina (Cantab Hall) has her first foal in Beautiful Sin. She was a good racehorse and earned over $144,000 and took a record of 1:54,3/1.11,1ak*. Second dam, Third Reef earned $139,000 and won in 1:55,3/1.11,7aak*. She has also produced Derby (Deweycheatumnhowe) $189,916 and Higgs Boson (Explosive Matter) $110,973. She is a sister to Di Manggio (Yankee Glide) $400,326.
